How did you grow as a digital artist during the project:
At the beginning of this project we learned and practiced photography skills in Roxy's class. Some of the things we worked with were lighting, framing, editing, and line composition. During the project I have increased my photography skills by practicing all these things when taking photos at the biosphere. However I do not feel that a grew much in the editing category.  This was because of multiply things, such as my computer doesn't have good editing software and Phillip doesn't have enough experience with primer. My group agreed to just use Roberts computer for editing because he has the whole adobe sweet and knows how to use it. Although this seemed like a good idea I wasn't able to do anything in the regards of editing other than gathering some music and B-roll. 

How can four of these physics concepts be applied to a space settlement (circular motion, center of gravity, torque, and Newton’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd laws of motions)  

• For starters you need gravity to have a settlement that is safe for long term living. Without gravity human bodies start to weaken. Some of the things that happens are decreased blood pressure, lack of oxygen to the brain, as well as blood and other bodily fluids are forced down into the lower body.  

• To create that needed gravity circular motion is used. The settlement rotates at a curtain speed that correlates to the size of the settlement. When you use circular motion the ship spins and is able to create gravity. 

• Newton's 1st law states that, if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line, it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by an outside force. This is the same for space ships, when a space ship is in motion its going to continue to go in that direction unless there is an outside force. This outside force could be a gravitational pull from another planet. We need to have Newton's 1st law to let the ship stop, move, park and navigate in general. Newton's 1st law is always inaction when is comes to space travel. 

• Newton's 3rd law states that every object has an equal and opposite reaction. In the regards of that we need to have plants and insects to make the agricultural of the settlement work properly. An example of this could be that you need some sort of bug in the rain forest part of your settlement to have everything in there stay healthy. If there isn't the right conditions then the reaction is that the rain forest would begin to deteriorate. 

During the project what was your greatest strength out of these 21st century skills: 
I feel that during this project I was able to adapt quite a lot more than I have in previous projects. I had a tough time feeling lie I was part of my group, this was because my other group members are really close with each other so I didn't feel very included. To adapt to this I worked on trying to communicate with them and ask them what we needed to do. I ended up not being able to help as much as I wanted to with scripts because my two group members have Mac-books and I don't so they started to use pages while I was sitting not able to help. In the end though I feel that it was a great experience to know what it can be like when people aren't all included into a group especially in these group projects. Over all I feel that learning to adapt with what I had to work with definitely helped my in the end of the project. I was able to download b-roll for the editor in the group and help my other team mate with looking for music.

What one of these skills do you feel that needs some growth: 
Communication and refinement were the two that needed to be a little stronger than they were. During the beginning of the project I feel that my group was doing pretty good with staying on task and talking to each other, although as the project went on that started to deteriorate. All of use started doing our own thing and not really working on what we should have been. Because of this I think that if we had more communication then the project would have been more refined. That leads me onto the other thing that we needed to have more strength in. Refinement was also something I wish I personally had more of in this project. When we were at the biosphere I was taking video but it wasn't done well so when I looked back on it it wasn't good enough to put into our film. Because of this I want to do better next time if I have a video project and take my time to do good work. The other thing I wish was more refined was our video it's self. I feel that with the time we had it could have had more b-roll, better voice overs, less text on the screen and more information such as an interview.
