I designed the tree figure on ADOBE Illustrator by taking a photo from online and then live tracing it to up everything into a vectorized format. From there I went in and cleaned everything up taking all the double lines out in order for the laser cutter to read the design. This took about 2 hours per panel due to having to vectorize everything and make sure the laser cutter could easily read the design. After all, this was done I then laser cut the three panels through a program called Gloforge. I then added LED lights behind each panel so that they would shine through the cutouts.
